Reading God’s Word: Isaiah 65:1-16; Proverbs 31:10-31

Memorizing God’s Word: Isaiah 53:6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Meditating on God’s Word: Proverbs 31:30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, of course we end the book of Proverbs right where we started it. In the first chapter we see that wisdom comes as we fear the Lord (Prov 1:7), and in the last chapter, we see the wise woman is the one who fears the Lord. This is what matters above all else. More than outward beauty. More than worldly riches. And we say today, along with Scripture, thank you God for the wise women in our lives who teach us what it means to walk in the fear of the Lord! Encourage them, Lord. And encourage us in their example, to know you, fear you, and walk in your ways. Amen.”
