Praying God’s Word: Lord, when I consider all that has happened in my life, and all that I want to accomplish this year, it’s easy for me to lose sight of the fact that before any of this existed, You were there. Even then, You knew me—before I existed, You knew all that would happen in my life, and all my hopes and dreams for this year. So, Father, shape them. Guide them. You created me, and You created me for Yourself! So draw me closer and closer each day as I walk with You. Amen.
