Reading God’s Word: Exodus 34, Psalm 50

Memorizing God’s Word: Psalm 56:3, When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.  

Meditating on God’s Word: Exodus 34:14, Do not worship any other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God. 

Praying God’s Word: Lord, I read today that you are “Jealous.”  You demand that I worship no other god. You demand complete loyalty. Increase in me the awareness that You and You alone are the only true God. All creation exists in your control. That in the future every knee will bow to you and declare that you are God. That your attributes set You completely part from all other gods. That you alone deserve all my adoration, worship, religious deeds, and energy. May my soul love you more as I grow closer to you. Amen.
