Memorizing God’s Word: Lamentations 3:22-23 Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 35:1 Contend, Lord, with those who contend with me; fight against those who fight against me.

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, I surrender. There are battles all around me. There are many more within me. Battles for my heart and my mind. Arrows of emotion attempting to pierce the truth of who I am in you. Bombs of baseless lies about the reality of this world, this life. Father, I am done being a soldier. You have made me a child, a joint heir and a citizen of your kingdom. The only battle I choose to fight is the battle to lay down my life and surrender to your will. Have your way with me today. Amen.”
