Reading God’s Word: Isaiah 52:13-53:12; Proverbs 25
Memorizing God’s Word: Isaiah 53:5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.
Meditating on God’s Word: Isaiah 53:5-6 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.”
Praying God’s Word: “Lord Jesus, this incredible prophecy described so perfectly what you would endure on the cross for us … for me. May I never forget that it was because I was born “astray” that the Father lovingly chose intervention through Jesus my Savior. Jesus, thank you for looking on me with compassion and love, seeing me as a sheep without a shepherd and paying the ultimate price so I might be found, Amen.”
