Reading God’s Word: Acts 1; Psalm 24

Memorizing God’s Word: Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Meditating on God’s Word: Acts 1:23-25 So they nominated two men: Joseph called Barsabbas (also known as Justus) and Matthias. Then they prayed, “Lord, you know everyone’s heart. Show us which of these two you have chosen to take over this apostolic ministry, which Judas left to go where he belongs.”

Praying God’s Word: Lord, when we are filled with uncertainty, when we are unsure of Your Will, may this be our prayer. “Lord, you know… Show us… you have chosen.” We can be certain in You, we can be sure in You, and we can trust You, amen.
