Burundi Mission Trip Overview

Dates: July 31 – August 10, 2026
Cost: $3,500 (includes flights, accommodations, food, transportation, etc.)

What to expect?

• Visit, learn from, and encourage local projects in Burundi (Houses and Batwa projects, disability projects, women’s empowerment, sewing machine projects, back-to-school projects, peace projects, etc.)
• Special visit to the Batwa village of Mbasi, where we have built houses in the last two years.
• Build relationships and spend fellowship with local women and families supported by Kickoff to Hope.
• Conduct discipleship training and personal development for women and especially men (since they unfortunately tend to abandon their wives and children very quickly for various reasons).
• Participate in soccer camps and fun ministry activities for kids. Maybe even play a friendly game against a local team.
• Be part (as a runner or spectator) in a peace run with Olympic runner and peace ambassador Charles Nkazayampi
• Attending local church services (including an opportunity to preach, for those interested).
