
For the Guardians – Parent Night
Parents or guardians of students, this is for you! We understand that raising teenagers in today’s world can be challenging. We want to strengthen our partnership and empower you to support your student’s spiritual and personal development! You’ll get the chance to connect with our Student Ministry team leaders and learn more about the vision for Student Ministry at Church of the Open Door.
When: April 2 | 6:30pm
Where: Student Center, Elyria Campus
Who: Parents/guardians of students (7th-12th grade)
What to Expect:
- Connect with Student Director and Leaders: Meet our dedicated Student Ministry team leaders as well as the Elyria Campus Student Director. Learn about our vision and get to know the individuals who are investing in your child’s life.
- Ministry Overview: Discover the exciting programs, events, and opportunities we have planned for the upcoming months.
- Food: During first Wednesdays, we desire to see students who may not attend church to come and experience an evening of food, games, worship, and a word from God.
- Hear from Students: Depending on your group, we may have brief testimonies from students regarding their experiences with the ministry.
- Prayer & Encouragement: We’ll conclude the evening with small group time for prayer & encouragement, lifting up our students and parents.
