Reading God’s Word: Daniel 6; Psalm 83

Memorizing God’s Word: 1 John 4:11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

Meditating on God’s Word: Daniel 6:26-27, “I issue a decree that in every part of my kingdom people must fear and reverence the God of Daniel. For he is the living God and he endures forever; his kingdom will not be destroyed, his dominion will never end, He rescues and he saves; he performs signs and wonders in the heavens and on the earth. He has rescued Daniel from the power of the lions.”

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, we pause on this day for fear and reverence. On the day that we remember Christ in the tomb, we too lay ourselves down silently before You. And yet, we look forward to the morning, when we will celebrate that You are the living God! That You endure forever! That death could not keep You in the ground, that Your kingdom will not be destroyed, and that You are the Risen King forever! We worship the only God who rescues and saves, and we pray that all would come to see the sign and wonder of Your resurrection, and would come to know You even as we have come to know You. Amen.”
