Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 43:5, Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, how often do I just accept the state of my heart and soul as though it can’t be changed? Teach me to be like David, who encouraged himself in the Lord! Help me to point my own heart and soul to hope whenever it feels like darkness is closing in. Amen.”
