Meditating on God’s Word: Acts 2:42 (LSB) And they were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to the prayers.

Praying God’s Word: “Father, one of the marks of the early church was the communion and fellowship they enjoyed with one another. They met regularly to listen to the teaching of the apostles, enjoy a meal together, talk to one another, and pray for others. Help us capture some of that energy today. Help us to break out of our isolation in a world of noise and spend time with our brothers and sisters in the Lord. After all, by doing so, we would just be practicing for eternity!  Amen.”
