Reading God’s Word: Genesis 47-48; Psalm 28

Memorizing God’s Word: Psalm 23:1-2 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,

Meditating on God’s Word: Genesis 48:19 But his father refused and said, “I know, my son, I know. He too will become a people, and he too will become great. Nevertheless, his younger brother will be greater than he, and his descendants will become a group of nations.”

Praying God’s Word: “God thank you for this biblical constant, that you often use those who are considered less to do great things! Jacob knew this firsthand, that although he deceived his father Isaac for his blessing, he was made great, and had a personal relationship with You. May we be assured that even though we may not be the eldest, in the highest position, or have the most influence, You can and will still use us according to Your Will. May we be obedient to You Lord, amen.”
