Reading God’s Word: Jeremiah 3:6-4:4; Psalm 6

Memorizing God’s Word: Isaiah 53:6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Meditating on God’s Word: Jeremiah 3:22 (NLT) “My wayward children,” says the Lord, “come back to me, and I will heal your wayward hearts.” “Yes, we’re coming,” the people reply, “for you are the Lord our God.”

Praying God’s Word: “Thank you, Lord, your heart is for your children. In the middle of this passage of rebuke and judgement, on a people who had forgotten the Lord their God, still you long to give grace. You laid every sin on Christ. And because of Him, there’s no brokenness you can’t mend, no wayward heart you can’t heal. Like the prodigal on the road back home, may we remember who you are, and cry out, ‘Yes, we’re coming. For you are the Lord our God.’ Amen.”
