Reading God’s Word: Exodus 6:28-9:35; Psalm 35

Memorizing God’s Word: Psalm 23:3-4, “he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”

Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 35:1-2, “O Lord, oppose those who oppose me. Fight those who fight against me. Put on your armor, and take up your shield. Prepare for battle, and come to my aid.”

Praying God’s Word: “God of heaven’s armies, today we read about the first 7 plagues you unleash in judgment on the Egyptians for hundreds of years of slavery and oppression which did not escape your attention.  David’s prayer was their prayer and finally, they got a front row seat to you armoring up and sprinting into the fight on their behalf.  Help me to see you as the One who is on the battlefield with me and even fights for me.  Truly the battle belongs to the Lord!  In faith I pray, Amen.”
