Praying God’s Word: “Father, in our meditation today, we are reminded of the sober reality that life is short. We will not live forever on earth, so the question we need to constantly ask ourselves is how well we are spending our short lives in light of eternity. Are we pursuing things of eternal value, or spending our time on that which is temporary. Are we laying up treasure on the earth, or treasure in heaven. Help us to live our lives in light of eternity, and make eternal investments. Amen.”
