Reading God’s Word: Micah 4-5; Psalm 111

Memorizing God’s Word: Mark 12:30-31, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”

Meditating on God’s Word: Micah 5:2 “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.”

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, I still am amazed at how many prophecies there are in the Old Testament that speak of the coming of the Savior of the world giving us clues to look for. You have kept every promise of Jesus’ coming as the expected Messiah. As John 17:17 says, “your word is truth.” May I trust you on every other promise you have given us in Scripture. Amen.”
