Reading God’s Word: Deuteronomy 12:1-14:2; Psalm 105
Memorizing God’s Word: Deuteronomy 7:9 Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.
Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 105:1-2 Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done. Sing to him; yes, sing his praises. Tell everyone about his wonderful deeds.
Praying God’s Word: “Lord, we are living in a time where a seemingly large percentage of people are without hope. Over half of the population admits to feeling down, depressed, and hopeless. Yet many Christians remain silent. We, the church, are called to share the hope that we have within us. Not in a forceful way or a way that comes across as “preachy,” but through our own personal testimony. Sharing our story about the ways you have worked and are working in our lives could be the bridge that connects others to you. Help me to take every opportunity to tell others about your wonderful deeds so that they would be drawn to you and seek you out. Amen.”
