Reading God’s Word: Job 4-5; Psalm 103

Memorizing God’s Word: Ephesians 3:16-17a   I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.

Meditating on God’s Word: Job 4:2-5 “If someone ventures a word with you, will you be impatient?

But who can keep from speaking? Think how you have instructed many, how you have strengthened feeble hands. Your words have supported those who stumbled; you have strengthened faltering knees. But now trouble comes to you, and you are discouraged; it strikes you, and you are dismayed.

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, sometimes it is much easier to give advice than receive it. Often we know the right answers and responses, but when it is ‘us’ in the midst of the struggle our vision becomes blurry. May we have faith in you that is rooted in the understanding of who you are and let us hear Godly wise counsel from others. Amen.”
