Reading God’s Word: Joshua 2; Psalm 121
Memorizing God’s Word: Joshua 1:9Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
Meditating on God’s Word: Joshua 2:11 (LSB)Indeed we heard it, and our hearts melted, and a courageous spirit no longer rose up in any man because of you; for Yahweh your God, He is God in heaven above and on earth beneath.
Praying God’s Word: “Father, we are always amazed at the faith of Rahab. She did not know much about You, only that you had mightily delivered Israel not only from bondage in Egypt, but also from the pursuing army of Pharaoh. In spite of what little she knew, she was a woman of faith who risked her life to protect the spies and as a result not only was she and her family spared, but she became part of the line of the Messiah. May we all have a faith like that of Rahab, who although she knew so little was willing to put all her trust in You. Amen.”
