Reading God’s Word: Mark 6:30-56; Psalm 35:1-10

Memorizing God’s Word: 2 Corinthians 3:18 And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

Meditating on God’s Word: Mark 6:50 Immediately he spoke to them, and said, “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, You know the times that we are living in, and You know the future. With all that is going on in the world, I admit that there are times I become afraid. And when I look at the future, I remember your prophecies about the last days, and how things on earth will get a lot worse. May I hear you speaking those words to me: “Don’t be afraid.” Remind me that you are in charge, and that you are my Father and I am your child. May that fact give me courage to face whatever comes along my path. Amen.”
