Reading God’s Word: Ezekiel 8; Psalm 50

Memorizing God’s Word: John 8:31-32, To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 50:1,The mighty One, God, the Lord, speaks and summons the earth from the rising of the sun to the place where it sets.

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, we are reminded that our sins are works of darkness (8:12). We are foolish to think you do not know, and see, when we turn away from you. Nothing is hidden from you (Luke 8:17, Hebrews 4:13)) and yet we are prone to wander. You are light. Your glory is all around us. May we heed the admonitions found in scripture and move away from darkness to light. May we be doers of the word you carefully preserved through generations. Amen.”
