Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 39:4 “Show me, Lord, my life’s end and the number of my days; let me know how fleeting my life is.

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, it amazes me that right now, in this moment, you can see the end of my days on this Earth. You see my life’s end as surely as you see me in this present moment. Sober me with the reality of my own mortality, O God! And yet, bring me comfort in knowing that, whatever may come tomorrow, it’s a day you’ve already seen, and a day where your mercy will meet me again to carry me through. Amen.”
