Reading God’s Word: Luke 6:37-7:10; Psalm 52

Memorizing God’s Word:  Philippians 4:13 (NKJV) I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13 Another translation: For I can do everything God asks me to with the help of Christ who gives me the strength and power. (TLB)

Meditating on God’s Word:   Luke 6:46-47 & 49 Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?  As for everyone who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice, I will show you what they are like… But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete. 

Praying God’s Word:  Lord; Always remind me that It isn’t the religious words I say, the church services I attend, the “bad” things I don’t do, the gifts I give; but that true discipleship Is doing what you, Jesus, say to do.  I want to follow what you want me to do.  Amen.
