Reading God’s Word: Deuteronomy 29-30; Psalm 114
Memorizing God’s Word: Psalm 119:9,11 How can a young person stay on the path of purity. By living according to your word. I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.
Meditating on God’s Word: Deuteronomy 30:11, “Now what I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach.”
Praying God’s Word: “Father, forgive me for believing the half-truth that I can’t please You. Forgive me for my attitude as I read law after law, thinking ‘How could anyone possibly keep up with all this!?’ Remind me that one day, I will live free not only from the penalty of sin, but also from the power of sin entirely, never again to act in ways contrary to Your goodness and love. And in the meantime, Father, help me by the power of Your Spirit to be more and more defined by my love for You, and my love for every single person I encounter. Amen.”
