Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 142:1-2 With my voice I cry out to the Lord; with my voice I plead for mercy to the Lord.I pour out my complaint before him; I tell my trouble before him.

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, you see our tears and our sorrows and understand our deepest longings. You are a God of compassion and love who yearns to comfort us.  You long for us to call out to you in each emotion we are feeling and every circumstance we are going through.  Whether it be depression, anxiety, confusion, disappointment, anger; nothing is too trivial in your eyes for us to bring before your presence.   Despite how things feel or look right now, I know you are sovereign and have proven trustworthy so I will continue to pour out my heart to you and praise your name. Amen.”
