Reading God’s Word: John 12:37-50; Psalm 62
Memorizing God’s Word: John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
Meditating on God’s Word: John 12:41-42, “Isaiah said this because he saw Jesus’ glory and spoke about him. Yet at the same time many even among the leaders believed in him. But because of the Pharisees they would not openly acknowledge their faith for fear…”
Praying God’s Word: “Ancient of Days Who is seated on the throne in heaven, Isaiah was so moved by awe and fear of you that 700 years before Jesus walked the earth, he spoke about and testified to his vision of the glory of the Son of God. His ancestors too were believers but yet the fear of man was at work in their hearts so their tongues were still and witness cut off. Father God, give us boldness and pure awe of You that will burn up any fear of the temporary and make us bold witnesses of the eternal in this day of darkness and evil. Let your glory shine far and wide through our testimony today, Amen.”
