Reading God’s Word: John 4:27-54; Psalm 78:40-55

Memorizing God’s Word: John 3:16, For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 78:40, How often they rebelled against him in the desert and grieved him in the wasteland!

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, we are challenged daily to evaluate our focus and motivations. ‘Serve him only’ sounds so simple, but it is not. There are so many competing influences in our lives. For example; the things we say to ourselves, the things others say to us, the impact of culture, time restraints, pressures to succeed and then of course the evil one who wants to destroy. May I silence the noise of competing influences around me and set my gaze upon you and you alone! (Psalm 16:8) Amen.”
