Reading God’s Word: John 1:5-28; Psalm 76

Memorizing God’s Word: 1 Peter 4:10, Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.

Meditating on God’s Word: John 1:5, The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it. John 1:9, The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world.

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, the gospel message is so clear in John 1, but still ‘the world did not recognize him.’  John the Baptist testifies with conviction and power, but still many did not receive the one who embodied ‘grace and truth.’ How is this still true in 2026? How is this still true in my life personally?  May I be able to declare boldly as John the Baptist did: ‘He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all men might believe.’ Amen.”
