Reading God’s Word: Leviticus 8:1-9:24; Psalm 62
Memorizing God’s Word: John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 62:8 Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.
Praying God’s Word: “Lord, how many times did David refer to you as his refuge? Seems like I see this word again and again in his writing. Be my refuge Lord. I know the feeling David expressed in v. 3 with the words “tottering fence.” I know the feeling of feeling broken down and barely standing, tottering on the brink of crashing, taking one blow after another, wondering how much more I can take. Teach me to find my rest in you alone. Teach me to find my refuge in you alone. My hope comes from you. My salvation and my honor depend on you. So I pour out my heart to you. Help me! Fight for me! Save me! For power belongs to you God and with you, Lord, is unfailing love! Amen.”
