Reading God’s Word: Daniel 5; Psalm 82

Memorizing God’s Word: 1 John 4:11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 82:8, “Rise up, O God, judge the earth, for all the nations are your inheritance.”

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, as I read this Good Friday Psalm, I am reminded of Your forbearance. Though You reign now and forever, You are patient with those of us who, because of sin, want to act like our own ‘gods.’ How often do I walk around knowing nothing, understanding nothing, going about in darkness? And yet, even though I deserve Your wrath, You are patient, not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance. And yet, the day is coming when You will set things right. All the world belongs to You, and we pray that when that day comes, because of the sacrifice of Your Son, that You would take us home to be with You. Amen.”
