Reading God’s Word: Jeremiah 25; Psalm 19
Memorizing God’s Word Philippians 4:6-7Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Meditating on God’s Word: Jeremiah 25:33 At that time those slain by the Lord will be everywhere—from one end of the earth to the other. They will not be mourned or gathered up or buried, but will be like dung lying on the ground.
Praying God’s Word: Lord, we have read for several chapters how you would (and did) punish Judah for worshiping idols and disobeying your commands. Your wrath for sin was poured out. From our “Christian” culture we tend to think of you as a kind father, always loving and caring. While true, we often overlook and ignore the severe consequences of your wrath against sin and what will happen to those who reject you. Open our eyes and increase our concern for nonbelievers.
