Reading God’s Word: Isaiah 49-50; Proverbs 24:1-22

Memorizing God’s Word: Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Meditating on God’s Word: Isaiah 49:13 Shout for joy, you heavens; rejoice, you earth; burst into song, you mountains! For the Lord comforts his people and will have compassion on his afflicted ones.

Praying God’s Word: Lord, Monday’s reading in Isaiah 44:23 shows the repeated response we ought to have for You, that we should burst into song, because your compassion for us, the afflicted ones. The overwhelming joy that comes from knowing that although we were doomed, You loved us and demonstrated Your power through Jesus Christ and His death on the cross. You are worthy of our praise, Amen.
