Reading God’s Word: Hosea 14; Psalm 96
Memorizing God’s Word: Colossians 2:6,7 So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, 7 rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
Meditating on God’s Word: Hosea 14:9 Who is wise? Let them realize these things. Who is discerning? Let them understand. The ways of the Lord are right; the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them.
Praying God’s Word: “Lord, I want to be righteous in your sight, but way too often I get distracted by other things, other people. As the Apostle Paul said, “I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do – this I keep on doing.” Help me to listen to what you, my Creator and Savior, say is best for me. Amen.
