Reading God’s Word: Hosea 14; Psalm 96

Memorizing God’s Word: Colossians 2:6,7 So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

Meditating on God’s Word: Hosea 14:9 Who is wise? Let them realize these things. Who is discerning? Let them understand. The ways of the Lord are right; the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them.

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, I want to be righteous in your sight, but way too often I get distracted by other things, other people. As the Apostle Paul said, “I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do – this I keep on doing.” Help me to listen to what you, my Creator and Savior, say is best for me. Amen.
