Reading God’s Word: Luke 7:11-35; Psalm 53

Memorizing God’s Word: Philippians 4:13 (NKJV) I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Meditating on God’s Word:  Luke 7:28 (Jesus said:) I tell you, among those born of women none is greater than John. Yet the one who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.

Praying God’s Word:  Thank you Lord that in this verse you point out that after your crucifixion, resurrection, and the giving of the Holy Spirit; every believer has a much more intimate position with you than during the Old Testament dispensation.  The Holy Spirit lives inside of me and I have direct access to you.  The curtain has been torn.  I don’t come to you once per year with a rope tied around my leg to pull me out of the Holy of Holies.
