Reading God’s Word: Mark6:1-29; Psalm 34:18-22
Memorizing God’s Word: 1 Corinthians 10:31 So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
Meditating on God’s Word: Mark 6:3b (LSB) And they were taking offense at Him.
Praying God’s Word: “Father, in our meditation today, we are told that those who knew Christ best regarded Him the least. Those in Nazareth were so familiar with Christ that they were unable to see Your hand in his life, and instead of being amazed at His ministry, were offended by it. They were blinded to His true identity, for to them, He was the little boy who grew up down the street from them. Please help us to never lose the wonder of Christ, and to never be offended by Him, so that we fail to acknowledge His presence in our lives, or avoid opportunities to display our faith to those around us. Amen.”
