Meditating on God’s Word: Luke 10:37b Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.”

Praying God’s Word “Lord, may we not read the story of the Good Samaritan, just marveling at the Samaritan’s mercy or impressed by his love. But instead, may we also hear your closing challenge/command to each of us: “go and do likewise.” When you bring people across our path who are hurting and broken, may we love well. May we see the “neighbors” all around us and love them like you do Jesus. Amen.”
