Reading God’s Word: Romans 14-15; Psalm 55
Memorizing God’s Word: Romans 12:1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.
Meditating on God’s Word: Romans 14:7-8 For none of us lives for ourselves alone, and none of us dies for ourselves alone. If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.
Praying God’s Word: Thank you, Lord, for our church and the fellowship we have with other believers. We are not alone. Thank you for the religious holidays (Christmas, Easter) that we get to celebrate together what you have done. And thank you that the church anchors life’s solemn moments (birth, salvation, marriage, death) as well as providing weekly worship, fellowship and instruction. We belong to you Lord, and we thank you for providing fellow believers along the way. Amen
