Praying God’s Word: “Father, as I consider again this prophecy about Christ’s first coming, I am reminded that He is coming again! The rising sun WAS COMING to us… the rising sun CAME to us… and the rising sun is COMING ONCE MORE. Jesus, we wait for you in what can at times feel like a very dark place, and in the shadow of death. But when the sun rises, the shadows are no longer seen. Keep my eyes fixed on this hope today, I pray. Amen.”
