Reading God’s Word: John 5:16-30; Psalm 41
Memorizing God’s Word: John 1:14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
Meditating on God’s Word: John 5:17, “In his defense Jesus said to them, ‘My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working’.”
Praying God’s Word “Lord Jesus, what an amazing window You have into the life of the Father—into Your own divine life! And, what a great wealth of revelation we find in Your words! Just as He was in the First Century, the Father is always at His work to this very day. So, Father, allow me to have eyes to recognize that work today, and a heart that is willing to receive and join You in that work—even when it seems buried beneath darkness and difficulty. We trust Your work! Do it in us today, we pray. Amen.”
