Reading God’s Word: Catch-up Day, Psalm 92

Previewing Esther: Overview

Memorizing God’s Word: 2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”  Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 92:1-5 It is good to praise the Lord  and make music to your name, O Most High,  proclaiming your love in the morning  and your faithfulness at night, to the music of the ten-stringed lyre  and the melody of the harp. For you make me glad by your deeds, LORD; I sing for joy at what your hands have done. How great are your works, Lord, how profound your thoughts!

Praying God’s Word:  Our Psalm 92 today was a song written for use as we attend church.  Lord, I want to sense that it is “good to praise the LORD.”  I want to proclaim your love and faithfulness.  When I hear of answered prayers and changed lives it makes me glad.  I sing for joy at what you have done.  Lord: I want to be so excited that I can’t wait to come to church; express my worship and adoration to You.  May my physical presence and worship encourage the fellow believers sitting around me.
