Reading God’s Word: Numbers 16-17, Psalm 85

Memorizing God’s Word: 1 Corinthians 10:31, So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 85:8, I will listen to what God the Lord will say; he promises peace to his people, his saints–but let them not return to folly.

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, although you may not ‘put an end to their grumbling against me’ as you did with the opposing group of Israelites in our text, it certainly causes me to pause and consider your reservoir of love and patience. As we read, may we be reminded that the scriptures are for our instruction. What are we learning? ‘Now these things occurred as examples to keep us from setting our hearts on evil things as they did’ (I Corinthians 10:6). I will listen and learn today! Amen.”
