Praying God’s Word: “Lord, as we slip into another summer I pray we take time to stand in wonder of all you’ve made. God, when the stars burst forth at the sound of your voice who could have imagined the volume and the glory? Who could have envisioned the depth and vastness of space? We stand in awe and struggle to understand just how far the universe extends. And to think that you know the name of each star. How can it be? And yet, as we stand so small beneath that night blanket, may the greatest truth still be that somehow, in your love, you know our name as well. Amen.”
