Partnering With: Priscilla Publishing in Greece
Purpose: To share the Gospel with and disciple Greek children using The Jesus Storybook Bible

Year-end giving has always been an essential part of sustaining the mission of Open Door, meeting internal needs, and ensuring that we can continue the work God has entrusted to us. But 10 years ago, we felt called to do more: to look outward and join what God is already doing beyond our walls.

Since 2014, our year-end giving projects have transformed lives around the globe. From providing beds for families in El Salvador to digging a clean water well in the Central African Republic, and, in the last two years, building a home for every family in Mbasi, Burundi, we’ve seen God move powerfully through your generosity.

This year, we are partnering with Priscilla Greece, a non-profit ministry in Greece that is dedicated to cultivating a love for the Word of God. In Greece, only 0.3% of the population is Evangelical Christian, and they currently lack gospel-centered discipleship literature in the Greek language, especially for children. Reading about the gospel and the things of God in one’s own language is a tremendous blessing; therefore, Priscilla Greece is committed to meeting that need by translating and publishing gospel-centered discipleship material and books for children of all ages.

Their current goal is to translate, publish, and distribute 1,000 copies of The Jesus Storybook Bible by Christmas of next year. We want to fund this project fully—from publishing rights to design, layout, and high-quality printing. The translation, editing, and distribution will be completed by the Priscilla team and volunteers.

Any funds received beyond this need will go to Open Door’s general fund to help close the deficit. All gifts are tax-deductible.
