FAM Care Community Training
A Family Advocacy Ministry (FAM) Care Community is an engineered team, like an extended family, of 4-8 committed and equipped volunteers who support foster, adoptive, or kinship families by providing meals, doing household chores, giving rides, and filling in as childcare. Care Communities are a perfect example of the church working as a body to help children and families in need. It’s a chance to fulfill James 1:27, or Matthew 25:40–a place where everyone can do something. February 12th will be a mandatory training for anyone wanting to be a part of a Care Community. We’d love to see you there!
