Reading God’s Word: 1 Corinthians 1:1-3:4; Psalm 58

Memorizing God’s Word:  Romans 12:1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.

Meditating on God’s Word:  1 Corinthians 1:10, I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to agree together, to end your divisions, and to be united by the same mind and purpose.

Praying God’s Word:  Lord, help me follow Paul’s admonishment.  Remind me of this verse when I try to argue for my point of view.  When I consider going to another church because I didn’t like the something in the sermon.  Or when I feel I didn’t get credit for my “hard work” in the church.  I want to replace “ME” in the picture with unity for the good of the church and the furthering of your purposes.
