Reading God’s Word: Catch-Up Day; Psalm 73

Reviewing 2 Chronicles: Overview Video

Memorizing God’s Word: John 1:14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 73:25-26, “Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, I confess that my heart is tangled up with the things of this world. There’s stuff, there’s people, and there are experiences I desire! Help me to see, oh God, that the things of this earth hold no value when compared to You—that even as I grow old, and even as my body begins to show the wear and tear, that I am only getting closer to being with You. May that reminder give my heart the strength it needs for another day. You are my hope, You are my salvation, and You are what I look forward to receiving forever! Amen.”
