Reading God’s Word: Catch-Up Day; Psalm 93
Previewing: Colossians
Memorizing God’s Word: Matthew 28:19-20 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 93:1, The Lord reigns, he is robed in majesty; the Lord is robed in majesty and is armed with strength.
Praying God’s Word: “Lord, we began our devotions this week with a challenge to ‘put on . . .’ As we reflect upon the last few days, what exactly did we put on? How did we prepare for our day? Were we ready to give an answer for the hope within us? (1 Peter 3:15) Did we clothe ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience? (Colossians 3:12) We can begin again today to ‘put on (What do you need?), to become armed with godly strength. Amen.”
