Reading God’s Word: Mark 8:1-13; Psalm 86:1-7

Memorizing God’s Word: Isaiah 40:28 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.

Meditating on God’s Word: Mark 8:12 He sighed deeply and said, “Why does this generation ask for a sign? Truly I tell you, no sign will be given to it.” 

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, forgive us for our “if’s”. How many of us only believe in you IF we get the job, IF we get the house, IF we get the free and clear diagnosis from the doctor. We want signs sometimes more than we want You. Jesus, you are all we need. You are all we want. Your life, your Spirit inside us, the hope of glory. May we live today knowing all we need is found in you. Amen.”
