Reading God’s Word: Numbers 3-4; Psalm 77

Memorizing God’s Word: John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 77:14 You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples.

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, so much of the world has given up. Treating you like a forgotten fairy tale. Laughing as we speak of love. Mocking as we pray for miracles. Furious at you but it is we who have failed. Father, forgive us for praying for healing and refusing to forgive. Forgive us for praying for peace and placing our faith in fear. Forgive us for asking for miracles and refusing to be used to answer the very prayers we have prayed. Jesus, may we be a people willing to display your power as we say “yes” to anything and everything you have called us to do. May the miracle be the way we deny ourselves, become servants of others, love our enemies and always follow you. Let us be a people of the God who, still, performs miracles. Amen.”
