Meditating on God’s Word: Genesis 12:1-3, The LORD had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you. I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”

Praying God’s Word: Lord, You have done it! Through this one man and his family, You have blessed all the nations! In Jesus Christ, the descendant of Abraham, You have made a way for all people to receive the blessing of the forgiveness of sins, the invitation to relationship, and the gift of everlasting life with You. Who else could have created such a plan? Who but You, my God, could have kept such a promise? Praise to the God of Abraham, who keeps His covenant for generations and generations! Amen.
